MERITS4U(tm)  Product Overview, Users License and Developer's Support

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Merits4U Developer's Copy includes a Demo-data feature that allows you to see how 
the software works before entering your own data. You can use the demo-data system 
interchangeably with your real data. The two systems are completely separate and 
only one system can be active at a time. Switch between Demo and Real by checking 
the option on the opening window. 

When you use the demo-data you will see a Message:
 "YOU ARE USING DEMO DATA DEMO-DATA HAS BEEN LOADED
DEMO DATES HAVE BEEN SET TO CURRENT MONTH AND YEAR
To get an idea of what Merit Scores will tell you 
Click on MERIT REPORTS, Select MERIT GROUP then, Choose MONTHLY"  

"DEMO DATA" Will also be in the title bar of menus

OTHERWISE, your start-up message will read.
"YOU ARE USING YOUR OWN DATA
YOUR DATA HAS BEEN LOADED
ALL DEMO DATA HAS BEEN REMOVED" 

NO DEMO-Data or REAL-Data is deleted during changeover. 
Demo-Data dates are always updated to current month for demo.

QUICK START:
Step 1:  Create MERIT GROUPS Or CATEGORIES. Your Merit Group(s) will describe 
People like; Workers, Family, Friends, etc. Start at the Photo Profile Screen 
and "Add Merit Groups"

Step 2: Assign Merit Points to activities that "Aid" the Group and 
        dMerit Points to prohibited activities. 

Step 3: Develop Merit Rewards to offer as an incentive for Group Members 
        that reach the required score.

Step 4: Use MERITS4U(tm) Software to document group member activity. 
        Performance can be tracked by day, week or month.

Step 5: For Motivation Share the program with your Group Members for active 
        participation in earning Merit Points and Rewards.

MERITS4U(tm):  THE RULES

MERITS & dMERITS
1. A Merit Activity is one that helps the Group but is not part of the 
Group Member's Job Description.

2. A Merit Activity is scored based on one point per hour and the maximum 
points for one Merit activity is 10.

3. A job Description Task that is left un-done is a dMerit.

4. All prohibited activities are also dMerits.

5. The Maximum dMerits for one instance is 40. - equivalent to docking 
a worker 40 hours of Merits. If more dMerits are deserved, the situation 
probably calls for more discipline than this program can hand out.

REWARDS
6. Two kinds of rewards are suggested: 
a) Rewards anyone can receive when reaching required points - like lunch. 
b) Rewards with choice options at each Point Plateau to give more data on 
what works to motivate your group. 

7. There are no rules for the number of points required to get rewards.

8. All rules can be changed by the User.

The system is very simple to use and most of the help topics only require 
a few lines of explanation.

HISTORY & PLANS

MERITS4U(tm) is custom Motivation Management Software developed on Windows XP 
and upgraded to run on Win 10. It has the security advantage of, working on a 
local hard drive. A Web Site is under development to reach wider groups like 
volunteers for Community Service and more.

USER LICENSE (Complimentary User)

DEVELOPER develops computer software and related materials for business and 
professional use. 
 
THE USER desires to further his/her personal, business or professional 
activities through the use of DEVELOPER'S MERITS4U(tm) COMPUTER SOFTWARE, 
herein called "MERITS4U(tm)" or, "M4U" Software. 
Developer grants THE USER a License to use the M4U SOFTWARE marked 
(Complimentary User) on a single computer (central processing unit).  

DEVELOPER WARRANTY
DEVELOPER WARRANTS that his M4U SOFTWARE will perform the functions that 
are stated in the program menus and shall be reasonably free of program 
coding errors as delivered.   

Where coding errors (commonly known as bugs) are found, DEVELOPER will supply 
a fix to registered users at the earliest possible date after notification.
(Complimentary User) can receive a discount to purchase register version as 
thanks for error notification.

In no event will DEVELOPER be liable to USER for any damages, including any
lost profits, lost savings or other incidental or consequential damages 
arising out of the use or inability to use MERITS4U(tm) SOFTWARE.
